Coly has disclosed its sales forecast for the fiscal year ending January 2025, anticipating a record high of ¥6.5 billion (US$44.1 million), marking a 28.3% increase from the previous year. The growth is driven by the strong performance of its recently released game “Break My Case” and steady gains from its existing titles, “Stand My Heroes” and “The Wizard’s Promise.”
Despite this revenue surge, profits are expected to be pressured by upfront costs associated with a major collaborative project, slated for release in January 2026, and high advertising expenses for “Break My Case.” The company is also investing in the development of two additional game titles, which are still in the prototype stage.
Coly is focusing on expanding its portfolio of intellectual properties (IPs) and venturing into new business areas. While confident in its long-term growth prospects, the company has chosen to withhold its profit forecasts due to fluctuating development and marketing costs. Coly plans to continue investing in original IPs and enhancing the user experience across both games and media.
