CJ Logistics announced a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Affinity Equity Partners on Wednesday, marking a significant collaboration aimed at improving logistics operations for Affinity’s portfolio companies. Affinity, a prominent private equity fund with offices across Asia-Pacific, including Seoul and Singapore, holds investments in major brands like Burger King, Subway, and Lock & Lock.
Under the agreement, CJ Logistics will offer logistics consulting and execution services to streamline supply chains and optimize logistics efficiency for Affinity’s investee companies. The partnership also allows CJ Logistics to identify operational inefficiencies during Affinity’s future investments, aiming to drive cost-effective improvements.
This partnership is expected to expand CJ Logistics’ third-party logistics (3PL) customer base, while Affinity can enhance the value of its portfolio companies through more efficient logistics operations. CJ Logistics brings significant expertise to the table, with a team of 300 logistics consultants who have worked with over 20 companies since last year.
Both companies see this collaboration as a win-win, leveraging CJ Logistics’ infrastructure and advanced technology to support Affinity’s equity holdings.
