Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation, a prominent player in the aerospace sector, announced a record-breaking revenue of NT$4.317 billion for March 2024 during its recent corporate briefing, marking the highest monthly revenue since its listing. The company reported a total revenue of NT$10.576 billion for the first quarter, reflecting a 6.39% increase from the previous year, driven by significant advancements in both its defense and civil aviation sectors.

In the defense arena, Aerospace Industrial Development is set to lead with the Brave Eagle high-education aircraft, targeting the delivery of 18 aircraft in 2024. The company is also enhancing its support for the Brave Eagle fleet with comprehensive logistics and maintenance services, aiming to strengthen its long-term cooperation with the Air Force. Further bolstering its defense portfolio, Hanxiang continues to see an increase in orders for its F-16 maintenance centers, with contract renewals already underway for its five-year, NT$2.3 billion agreement.

The UAV business is another area where Aerospace Industrial Development shines, utilizing its mature production technology and comprehensive testing capabilities to meet the growing demand across various industries. This aligns with national policies aimed at expanding this sector.

On the civil front, Hanxiang is capitalizing on the rebounding civil aircraft market by investing in R&D for thermoplastic composite technologies and exploring new opportunities in the global business aircraft and engine markets, which are projected to reach over US$200 billion and US$900 billion, respectively, in the next decade.

Moreover, the company is actively pursuing opportunities in green energy, having formed an alliance with Formosa Plastics New Intelligence Company to develop innovative energy management systems. In collaboration with GE, Aerospace Industrial Development is also expanding into the gas turbine generator market, focusing on localized maintenance services.

With a record revenue of NT$39.1 billion in 2023 and an EPS increase of 29%, reaching 2.36 yuan, Aerospace Industrial Development continues to set industry benchmarks. The company’s commitment to its three core business sectors—defense, civil, and technology services—positions it well for continued growth and sustainability in 2024.
