ADATA Technology Co., a Taiwanese memory module manufacturer, reported a 7.43% month-over-month increase in September revenue, reaching NT$3.25 billion (US$102 million), driven by rising memory contract prices and a stabilizing spot market.
The company’s solid-state drive (SSD) sales hit a three-year high of NT$1.3 billion (US$40.7 million) for the month, marking a 24% jump from August. SSDs became ADATA’s top revenue generator in September, accounting for nearly 40% of sales.
For the first nine months of 2024, ADATA’s consolidated revenue climbed 33.44% year-over-year to NT$30.25 billion (US$947 million). DRAM modules remained the company’s largest product line, contributing 45.36% of revenue, followed by SSDs at 29.49%.
Chairman Simon Chen cited stabilizing spot market conditions and improved customer stocking as key factors behind the company’s performance. Looking ahead, ADATA expects DRAM contract prices to remain steady in Q4, with potential inventory replenishment driving demand.
The company anticipates outperforming Q3 results in the fourth quarter and aims to surpass NT$40 billion (US$1.25 billion) in full-year revenue, with gross margins projected to reach new highs.
