AcBel Polytech, a leading power supply manufacturer, marked its debut at today’s Smart Mobile Exhibition, highlighting its recent strategic alliance with US electric vehicle charging solution provider ChargePoint. This collaboration underscores AcBel Polytech’s commitment to advancing electric power technology and exporting groundbreaking solutions globally.

The company showcased a range of vehicle charging products, including a 900V silicon carbide (SiC) DC converter and an 800V 250kW silicon carbide motor driver, which have set new standards in efficiency and performance. Notably, the 900V SiC DC converter has gained traction with emerging luxury car manufacturers in the United States, demonstrating Kangshu’s impact on high-end markets. Additionally, its 400V 125kW 4-in-1 electric power integration system has received accolades from Japanese clients, further solidifying AcBel Polytech’s presence in international markets.

A significant innovation from AcBel Polytech is the 800V 3kW DC converter, a compact yet powerful device with system efficiency reaching 98%. Its size, comparable to a smartphone and weighing just 1.5 kg, aligns perfectly with the industry’s push towards lighter, more cost-effective electric vehicle power systems. This product is particularly well-suited for the next generation of electric vehicles, which emphasize integrated power architecture and component reduction.

The strategic alliance formed in February with ChargePoint involves a dynamic collaboration where AcBel Polytech leads in design, Jinbao in manufacturing, and ChargePoint in providing the necessary software and services. This tripartite partnership aims to develop efficient electric vehicle charging solutions that cater to a growing global market.

Chairman Xu Jieli expressed optimism about the alliance’s potential to enhance AcBel Polytech’s R&D and technical capabilities, envisioning significant future benefits as these advanced solutions reach broader markets. This initiative not only showcases Kangshu’s innovative approach but also its strategic positioning to influence the future of electric mobility.
