HD Hyundai XiteSolution has inaugurated a new customization plant in Brunswick, Georgia, consolidating its US operations for construction equipment. The facility, covering 41,300 square meters, integrates assembly centers for HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Co. and HD Hyundai Infracore Co., which were previously located in Savannah, Georgia.

The plant specializes in completing semi-finished equipment, shipped from South Korea, according to specific customer requirements. HD Hyundai XiteSolution highlights that such customization is crucial in the construction equipment industry to meet the diverse needs of clients.

By centralizing operations, the company expects to reduce logistics costs and delivery times significantly, benefiting from proximity to Brunswick Port, a major hub for roll-on/roll-off (ro-ro) ships in the US. The facility will also serve as a strategic base for cross-selling between the two affiliates, helping them expand their market share in North America.

As the North American construction equipment market is projected to grow by 6% annually, reaching $40 billion by 2028, HD Hyundai aims to capitalize on this expansion through streamlined operations and enhanced customer service.
