Gumi America, a subsidiary of gumi, has announced a new partnership with the University of California, Berkeley’s AI incubation program, the AI Entrepreneurs of Berkeley Program (AIEB). This strategic move marks gumi Group’s entry into the rapidly expanding AI sector.

The gumi Group, traditionally known for its mobile online game and blockchain businesses, is now venturing into AI to capitalize on the sector’s growth. The partnership with UC Berkeley’s AIEB is the first step in this initiative. Through this collaboration, gumi America aims to build a strong network with US AI venture capital firms and leading startups, leveraging their advanced technologies to enhance its footprint in the AI field.

The AIEB incubator supports early-stage AI startups at UC Berkeley, selecting the top 10-15 startups from 300-400 applications to participate in the program. This initiative aligns with gumi Group’s broader strategy to innovate and diversify its business portfolio by embracing cutting-edge technological advancements.
