FIH Mobile, a subsidiary of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., will exhibit automotive electronics solutions at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from January 7-10, marking its first appearance at the world’s largest tech gathering.
The company plans to showcase its 4G and 5G telematics control units (TCU) with eCall emergency system and multiple antenna configurations. A centerpiece of the display will be a 44.8-inch in-vehicle infotainment system featuring directional speakers for separate sound zones.
FIH Mobile’s high-performance computing platform aims to streamline the traditional electronic control unit architecture, while its advanced driver assistance system integrates AI-powered object recognition and vehicle control capabilities.
The company’s Vice President Wen-Yi Kuo noted that FIH Mobile has made significant progress in automotive electronics, having received ASPICE CL2 certification for its TCU in 2024. The certification validates the company’s software and hardware development capabilities against international standards.
The automotive push aligns with FIH Mobile’s “2+2” strategy focusing on automotive electronics, robotics, artificial intelligence, and next-generation communications. The company plans to leverage its global manufacturing footprint to respond to market demands.
