As the discussion around AI PCs intensifies, Acer has launched a new AI PC featuring Intel Core Ultra series processors, with the device now available on the market. In July, Acer plans to introduce a Copilot+ PC equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor, offering up to 45 TOPS of AI computing power. This will be part of Acer’s growing portfolio, which includes at least three AI PCs with over 40 TOPS in the second half of the year.

The new AI-enabled PCs, such as the Swift 14 AI, are designed to run popular AI applications like ChatGPT, Copilot, and Adobe software, compatible with both old and new models. However, there is currently no overwhelming consumer demand for AI PCs, as the public has yet to see a pressing need for AI-specific applications. Most consumers are in a wait-and-see mode, but those needing an upgrade are starting to consider AI PCs.

Zhang Shixin, Acer Taiwan’s Chief Operating Officer, stated that future launches will include more Copilot+ PCs, ensuring ample AI computing power for consumers. Acer continues to expand its AI PC offerings with business models such as TravelMate P6 / P4 Spin / P4, All-in-One desktops Aspire C27 / C24, and mini computer RevoBox, all powered by Intel Core Ultra processors and integrated AI acceleration capabilities.

In addition to its AI PCs, Acer has re-entered the tablet market with competitively priced models. The 11-inch Iconia Tab P11, featuring a MediaTek 8-core processor, Android 14 system, 2K resolution, and QLED display technology, has been well-received in Europe and the US. Acer also offers the Vero series of environmentally friendly projectors with ultra-high 5,000 ANSI lumens and integrated Android TV.

With Microsoft ending support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025, there is a growing business opportunity as domestic companies begin purchasing new machines. Zhang Shixin is optimistic about Acer’s performance in the latter half of the year, forecasting single-digit growth driven by increasing demand for both commercial and consumer products.
